OUR HISTORY
& EDUCATION
Jordyn's journey with animal care spans over 13 years and began at a young age, rooted in hands-on experience and a deep respect for animal welfare. At just 11 years old, she began working with rescue horses, where she assisted with their training, daily care, and rehabilitation. Through dedication, patience, and hard work, she earned the opportunity to receive her own horse as a gift at age 12 - a meaningful milestone that reflected her commitment and compassion for animals.
Animals have always been an integral part of Jordyn's life. She welcomed her first cat Tigger, at the age of four, making the beginning of a lifelong bond with animals. As she grew older, this bond continued through her teenage years with the addition of a puppy, and later on a cat, further shaping her understanding of animal behavior, care, and companionship.
Professionally, Jordyn went on to work at a high-volume dog daycare for over four years, where she gained extensive experience in grooming, handling, and caring for over 100 dogs at a time. This role strengthened her skills in animal safety, behavior management, and individualized care within fast-paced environments. Driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge and provide the highest level of care, she later pursued formal education and became a certified veterinary assistant.
The combination of lifelong experience and professional training laid the foundation for Pudge's Paradise - built on trust, expertise, and a genuine passional for animal well-being.
